Job summary

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is seeking a RadiologicTechnologist to deliver safe, high‑quality imaging care. You will work under supervision with a team that prioritizes patient care, education, and compassion, while adhering to radiology protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications include an associate's degree or radiologic technology certificate, ARRT licensure within 90 days of hire in DC, and BLS certification. Prior experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or radiologic technology certificate from an approved program.
• ARRT registration required upon hire in MD, within 90 days in DC.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain radiographs per physician specs.
• Maintain radiation safety and patient identification; ensure image labeling and quality.
• Support patient education and prepare patients for procedures.
• Document care in EHR and transfer images to PACS for interpretation.
