Job summary

CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging including X-rays, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI, while actively engaging with patients to deliver a positive experience.

The role requires ARRT credentials and JRCERT-accredited education with CPR/BLS, ensuring high standards of safety and quality in imaging across central Kentucky.

Qualifications

• Associates of Science in Radiologic Technology or related field at hire.
• Program must be accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
• Kentucky Medical Radiographer license at hire.
• ARRT Registered Technologist in Radiography at hire.
• ARRT Registered in Bone Densitometry at hire.
• ARRT Registered in Computed Tomography at hire.
• ARRT Registered in Cardio Interventional Radiography at hire.
• ARRT Registered in Mammography at hire.
• ARRT Registered in Magnetic Resonance Imaging at hire.
• ARRT Registered in Nuclear Medicine Technology at hire.
• ARRT Registered in Quality Management at hire.
• ARRT Registered in Radiation Therapy at hire.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.
Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.
To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
• Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
• Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
• Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
• Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Maintains professional development and education for technical competency.
