Job Overview: A Radiologic Technologist performs routine administrative and clinical tasks to support physicians and healthcare teams. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, operating imaging equipment, ensuring safety, documenting procedures, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent
• Minimum one year of diagnostic radiography experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook

Preferred: Experience performing diagnostic radiography

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• CPR Certification (American Heart Association)
• Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• New Jersey state license

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day shift, Monday - Friday
• One weekend a month
• Full-Time

Essential Functions:

• Prepare patients for evaluation
• Assist physicians with evaluation, treatment, and procedures
• Perform radiology tests and oversee x-ray production
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Coordinate film reading with physicians
• Communicate with patients regarding tests and examinations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms
• Handle correspondence with patients and insurance
• Respect patient privacy and confidentiality
• Perform additional duties as assigned
