Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-Ray and fluoroscopic exams for patients across age groups in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include assisting surgeons with radiology guidance in the OR, adhering to OR protocols, and rotating on-call for after-hours cases. A valid ARRT registration and CPR certification are required, with preferred experience in diagnostic radiology and operating room procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Ability to deal tactfully with patients, visitors, physicians and staff.
• Certified in CPR.
• Preferred: experience in diagnostic radiology and operating room procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs.
• Support operating room and surgeons by providing radiology guidance of equipment.
• Participate in mandatory call rotation for after-hours cases.
• Perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies.

Responsibilities

Operates X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This position is characterized by the ability to support operating room and surgeons by providing Radiology guidance of equipment. Knowledge of OR protocols as it relates to Radiology equipment. Participates in mandatory call rotation for after hour cases. Perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies and work in hospital areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.


• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).


• Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.


• Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Preferred:

• Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.


• Prior experience in Operating Room procedures.
