Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree preferred.
• NM Radiography Technologist (RRT) license or Temporary license required.
• ARRT R.T.(R) certification preferred at time of hire; Employee has 1 year to obtain ARRT certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging procedures, operating appropriate equipment.
• Processes imaging media, troubleshoots and corrects problems.
• Performs basic nursing care.
• Performs departmental clerical duties.
• Ensures patient rights are protected.
• Participates in Performance Improvement.
• Assists with orientation of new personnel; supervises students during clinical rotation.
• Promotes a safe environment.

Education

High School Diploma or GED
