Responsibilities

• Performs Radiologic examinations according to department procedures and protocols by positioning patients and operating radiographic equipment.
• Minimizes radiation to the patient and staff by following safety practices and using shielding.
• Inputs procedural information into EMR, RIS and PACS to capture exam data and charges.
• Obtains patient information including labs and medications to ensure exam relevance.
• Performs other related duties as required.
