Hartford Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic imaging in an acute care setting. You will position patients, operate x-ray equipment, and provide patient care during imaging exams to assist in diagnosis and treatment.

The role requires CT radiography basics, O.R. experience, and adherence to radiation safety standards. New hires are eligible for a $10,000 bonus and 12-hour shifts with weekend rotation.

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• State of Connecticut Radiographer license.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (obtained within 120 days of graduation for new graduates).
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Mansioni

• Performs Radiologic examinations on identified patients according to department procedures and protocols by positioning patients and operating radiographic equipment.
• Minimizes radiation to the patient, self and others by practicing appropriate radiation protection techniques.
• Accurately inputs procedural information into electronic medical record, RIS and PACS to capture necessary information.
• Obtains all relevant patient information, including current lab values and medications, ensuring reason for exam aligns with the exam request.
