Job summary

Hartford Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging in an acute care setting. You will position patients, operate radiographic equipment, and ensure high-quality exams while prioritizing safety and patient care.

Responsibilities include fluoroscopy, OR support with C-arm, and precise entry of data in EMR systems. Requires accredited radiography education, CT radiography license in CT, ARRT certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• State of Connecticut Radiographer license.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (obtained within 120 days for new grads).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic examinations following department protocols.
• Position patients and operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images.
• Perform fluoroscopic procedures and assist in the OR with C-arm as needed.
• Minimize radiation exposure and apply radiation safety standards.
• Document procedures accurately in EMR, RIS, and PACS.
