Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• State of Connecticut Radiographer license.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (obtained within 120days of graduation for new graduates).
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

• Position patients and operate diagnostic x-ray equipment.
• Provide patient care during imaging exams to aid diagnosis and treatment.

Location Detail: 100 Grand Street New Britain (10126)

Shift Detail: Every Thursday and Friday 2:30p-11p. Every other weekend 3p-11:30p. On call and holiday rotations.

Position Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures including but not limited to ambulatory or acute settings by positioning patients, operating diagnostic x-ray equipment and providing patient care during imaging exams to assist in diagnosis and treatment of the patient.
