Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Wilmington, DE hospital campus. This full-time position involves operating radiographic equipment, developing radiographs, and performing related clerical duties as needed.

The successful candidate will cover the ED, Portables, and Fluoro, assist with radiology student training, and perform QC on PACS and imaging systems. ARRT-registered, Delaware license, CPR required; sign-on bonus of $5,000 for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiology Science required.
• AR RT registered technologist required; Delaware license preferred.
• CPR certification required; flexibility in hours/duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment and ensure image quality.

The Wilmington Hospital Radiology Department is currently recruiting for a Full Time (80 hr) Radiologic Technologist to work day shifts with weekend and holidays as required

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment

• Developing and identifying radiographs

• Performing clerical duties when necessary: receptionist and scheduling duties, completes forms on clinical, etc. and various filing duties

• Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Portables, Fluoro

• Assisting with the training of radiology technology students

• Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems

• Operating the following equipment: Seimans, Phillips, and Ziehm

• Burn patient CD's

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Radiology Science

• RT Technologist experience preferred

• ARRT Registered Technologist required

• Delaware license

• Certification in CPR

• Flexibility in hours and duties is required

Hourly Pay Range: $32.77 - $52.43This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
