Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Radiography - X Ray Technologist for a full-time float position based in Thornton, CO, with coverage at multiple UCHealth clinics including Thornton, Steele, Green Valley Ranch, Arvada and Erie Northfield. The role emphasizes top-of-scope radiographic procedures, patient education, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and be ARRT registered, with state licensure if required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• State licensure if required by law.
• BLS certification before start date; BLS/CPR card valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides top of scope radiographic procedures.
• Reviews patient history and initiates radiographic images as ordered.
• Safely administers contrast media or related imaging meds and monitors patient condition.
• Maintains image quality and equipment functionality following best practices in Radiology (AART).
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team and participates in precepting new staff.
