Overview

Connecticut Orthopaedics is seeking a full-time Float Radiologic Technologist to join our care team. This role floats between Trumbull, Fairfield, Westport and Shelton, contributing to patient care across our practice.

Responsibilities

• Play a critical role in the diagnoses and treatment of a patient’s illness and/or injury by performing various radiographic procedures
• Connect with the patient. From pre-screening for precautions or contraindications, to explaining the procedure and offering emotional support throughout, this position plays a key role in the care process and patient experience

Skills and Abilities

• The ability to provide quality, compassionate patient care
• A positive attitude and friendly, courteous demeanor
• Ability to maintain medical equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting
• Ability to comply with all HIPAA requirements

Education & Experience Requirements

• Must be a registered technologist from an accredited school of Radiology
• Must possess a radiology technologist license in the state of Connecticut
