Job summary

Advanced Radiology Consultants in Stamford, CT is seeking a General Radiology Technologist - Float to support diagnostic imaging across departments. You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, review documentation, and maintain equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• ARRT (RT)(R) certification and CT state license required.
• Experience with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures is a plus.
• Commitment to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated interest in meeting patient needs and assuring patient satisfaction.
• Operating knowledge of radiographic equipment.
• Performs all diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within assigned areas.
• Reviews all necessary documentation to perform diagnostic procedures.
• Performs preventive visual and manual inspections for each radiographic room/equipment assigned ensuring maintenance and cleanliness.
• Performs related clinical and clerical duties associated with the patient procedure.
• Assists in coordinating resources to facilitate optimal efficiency.
• Performs warm up calibration procedures necessary to ready the equipment for patient imaging.
• Assists in the procurement of all necessary supplies.
• Informs supervisor of equipment needing repair to ensure prompt service.
• Contributes to a positive climate and open communication for a team approach.
• Maintains certification and licensure by attending continuing education classes.
