Job summary

Advanced Radiology Consultants is seeking a General Radiologic Technologist—Float to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, review patient documentation, and assist in managing multiple radiographic rooms. This role requires ARRT (RT)(R) and CT state licensing and a commitment to patient safety and quality imaging.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of radiographic equipment, maintain room readiness, and support a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT (RT)(R) certification and CT state license required.
• Experience with diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in general radiology.
• Ability to review documentation and maintain room readiness and equipment cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in assigned areas.
• Review documentation to ensure procedures are completed correctly.
• Maintain radiographic room/equipment readiness and cleanliness.
• Coordinate resources to optimize procedure efficiency and throughput.
• Notify supervisor of any equipment repairs and ensure prompt service.
• Maintain licensure and pursue continuing education.

We are looking for a General Radiology Technologist - Floatto join our team. The pay range for this role will depend on experience and qualifications.

The General Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures; reviews all necessary documentation related to the procedures and performs related clinical and administrative duties.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated interest in meeting patient needs and assuring patient satisfaction.
• Operating knowledge of radiographic equipment.
• Performs all diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within assigned areas.
• Reviews all necessary documentation to perform diagnostic procedures.
• Performs preventative visual and manual inspections for each radiographic room/equipment assigned ensuring appropriate maintenance and cleanliness.
• Performs related clinical and clerical duties associated with the patient procedure.
• Assists in the managing of the radiographic procedures through the coordination of resources, to facilitate optimal efficiency. Assures that the procedures performed are in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Performs warm up calibration procedures necessary to ready the equipment for patient imaging.
• Assists in the procurement of all necessary supplies.
• Informs the supervisor of any equipment needing repair to insure prompt service.
• Contributes to a positive climate and open communication for a team approach.
• Maintains certification and licensure by attending continuing education classes.

• ARRT (RT)(R) and CT State License required
