Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Float Diagnostic and Therapeutic Injections/ C-arm (DTI) Technologist for travel among multiple centers in the south metro. This part-time role (20–29 hours/week) includes 8-hour shifts, Saturdays, and no on-call.

The position offers a $3,000 relocation or sign-on bonus and growth opportunities in MRI/CT cross-training in the future. The DTi Technologist will operate scanners, ensure high-quality images, and maintain patient safety while adhering to radiology

Qualifications

• ARRT-registered technologist with current good standing.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance proof required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced radiographic procedures across designated body parts with minimal supervision.
• Screen patients for precautions and contraindications; explain procedures and position patients for optimal imaging.
• Maintain accurate patient records in Radiology Information System (RIS) and ensure safety standards.
• Maintain equipment and participate in staff meetings; assist with protocol updates and training.

Job description

The pay range for this position is $30.00-$48.53 based on direct and relevant experience.

There is a $3,000 relocation or sign on bonus added for this role!

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Float Diagnostic and Therapeutic Injections/C-arm (DTI) Technologist to join our team. As a Float DTI Technologist, you will operate a scanner in assigned modality(s) to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes, assuring that services are provided to patients and referring specialists within professional standards at multiple centers within the market.

This is a part-time (20-29 hours/week) position traveling to multiple centers (typically south metro) working various weekdays between 8:00am-5:00pm (8 hour shifts and no call); includes Saturday rotation. There will be an opportunity to cross-train in MRI or CT in the future.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(80%) Patient Imaging

• Performs routine and advanced procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats
• Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination
• Explains and prepares patients for procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure and positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned
• Adjusts scan parameters correctly and as needed
• Maintains positive attitude and working relationships with radiologist, referring customers and other associates and peers
• Converses with doctors, nurses, patients and family members as required
• Follows physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations to protect themselves, their patients, and coworkers
• Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
• Maintains an orderly and clean work area promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers

(15%) Imaging Support

• Maintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects equipment after each use
• Participates in staff meetings with employee involvement
• Assists in maintaining an updated radiographic protocol manual
• Assists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise

(5%) Performs other duties as assigned

Required:

• ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
• Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform radiographic procedures independently
• Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance
