Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Float CT Technologist to operate CT scanners, position patients, and deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging. This full-time role requires ARRT registration, AMA‑approved radiography training, and state licensure where applicable.

CPR certification and CT proficiency are essential. The position includes a $8,000 sign-on bonus and a $43.00-$57.00 hourly pay range with DailyPay availability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of AMA approved radiography program.
• ARRT registered technologist in good standing.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the applicable state (as required).
• CPR certification current.
• Competent CT procedures experience and independence.
• Imaging specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner(s) to acquire diagnostic images.
• Screen and prepare patients, explain procedures, and position patients.
• Follow physician orders and safety standards; maintain RIS records.
• Adjust imaging parameters and apply dose reduction techniques as needed.
• Maintain department cleanliness and supply inventory; support training as needed.

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $57.00 based on direct and relevant experience.

There is an $8,000 sign on bonus for this role! RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Float CT Technologist to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As a Float CT Technologist, you will beresponsible for operating assigned scanner(s) to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Taking a patient centered approach, you will provide CT services within professional standards and with excellent customer service. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30 pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(90%) Patient CT Imaging

1. Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure the correct patient and procedure
2. Explains and prepares patients for scanning imaging procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately
3. Performs routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats scanned, while providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure
4. Adjusts scanning scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate
5. Follows physicians' orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, and accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
6. Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements
7. Maintains an orderly and clean work area including equipment promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers

(5%) CT/Imaging Department Support

1. Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades
2. Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary
3. Assists with training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable

(5%) Completes other tasks as assigned

Required:

1. High School diploma, or equivalent
2. Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
3. ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
4. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
5. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
6. Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform CT procedures independently
7. Certification in imaging specialty
