Qualifications

• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to locate radiography targets.
• Familiarity with radiology equipment and safety hazards in radiology operations.
• Ability to position patients for high-quality imaging.
• Experience or skill in troubleshooting radiology equipment operation.
• Strong interpersonal skills with patients, staff and physicians.
• Ability to follow written guidelines and standardized procedures.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and adjust equipment for X-rays per procedures.

• Follow safety standards in operating radiological equipment.
• Set exposure parameters to achieve optimal image quality.
• Deliver X-ray images to physicians for interpretation.
• Maintain X-ray file system and PACS-related tasks.
• Stock supplies and support office staff during downtime.
• Participate in training and license maintenance programs.
