Job summary

OrthoConnecticut is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiologic equipment for diagnostic X-ray imaging in orthopedic procedures. You will position patients, ensure image quality, and deliver images to physicians for interpretation.

Qualifications

• Completion of course in Radiologic Technology approved by ARRT.
• One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred.
• Active ARRT certification and CT license in Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and adjust equipment for X-rays following established procedures.
• Instruct patients and monitor during examinations.
• Follow safety standards in operating radiological equipment.
• Deliver X-ray images to physicians for interpretation.
• Maintain X-ray file system and PACS workflow.
• Assist in training of new X-ray technicians.
