OrthoConnecticut in Wilton, CT is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiologic equipment and perform diagnostic X-ray imaging for orthopedic procedures under physician direction. Qualifications

• Education: Completion of ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: One year as Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• ARRT certification and active ARRT license required.
• Connecticut state license required; continuing education encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Positions patients and adjusts equipment for X-rays following established procedures.
• Instructs patients regarding procedures and observes during examinations.
• Follows safety standards in operating radiological equipment.
• Delivers X-ray images to physicians for reading and interpretation.
• Maintains X-ray file system and PACS workflow.
• Assists in training new X-ray technicians.
