Job summary

UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care, LLC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray procedures and support patient care across age groups in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, maintaining records, and collaborating with providers and medical staff to deliver high-quality care. BLS, ARRT, and state licensure are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required; graduate of approved Radiologic Technologist program.
• Work experience: Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Licenses/certifications: BLS required; ARRT registration; state licensure as Radiologic Technologist (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with providers and medical assistants on patient care and communication.
• Perform x-ray services for patients of all ages to support radiologic diagnosis.
• Maintain medical records and scans; ensure documentation and chart accuracy.
• Monitor daily controls and calibration; maintain QA/QC logs and report equipment issues.
• Explain procedures to patients, ensure comfort and safety, and answer questions.
