Job summary

WMH Alzheimer’s Support Group in Honesdale is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations at the Lake Region Walk-In Health Center. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, operating radiographic equipment, and maintaining patient confidentiality.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with current ARRT certification, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic clinical support tasks, such as obtaining vital signs and assisting with patient care.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced walk-in environment.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations while ensuring patient safety.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment according to safety standards.
• Verify patient identity and ensure appropriate documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Assist with clinical patient care activities including obtaining vital signs.
