Job summary

MobilexUSA is seeking a traveling Radiology Technologist to operate portable X-ray equipment across nursing homes, assisted livings, jails, and patients' homes in the Kansas City area. You will drive a company vehicle, obtain and scan paperwork, and, when needed, perform EKGs for cardiologist interpretation.

Applicants must hold ARRT certification and state licenses; valid driver's license is required. Illinois licensure is mandatory for this position, with reimbursement offered to obtain it.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification and state licenses are required and must be maintained.
• Valid driver's license in the applicable state.
• Newly registered/licensed technologists are encouraged to apply.
• Illinois licensure is required for this position; willingness to obtain it will be reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Operate portable radiology equipment to produce diagnostic images for Radiologist interpretation.
• Drive company vehicle with radiology equipment to diverse locations to perform x-ray exams as ordered.
• Perform EKGs when needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
• Obtain and scan exam-related paperwork/billing documents daily per protocol.
• Communicate with dispatch and management regularly.
• Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
• Maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment in good condition.
• Care for equipment in a professional manner.
• Perform special projects or other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Saturday - Sunday 3:30pm-12:00am
Pay Range: $30.00-$34.00 Based on Experience

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating portable (DR) radiology equipment to produce diagnostic quality images for Radiologist interpretation.
• Driving company vehicle with radiology equipment to various locations (nursing homes, assisted livings, jails, and/or patients' own homes) to perform various x-ray exams as ordered by the physician
• Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. (if required)
• Obtain and scan required exam related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol.
• Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
• Communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
• Maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment.
• Technologist must care for their equipment in a professional manner.
• Perform special projects or other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

REQUIRED LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION

• Maintain ARRT Certification and required State licenses, health requirements, operational requirements.

• Newly registered/licensed technologists strongly encouraged to apply
• Illinois licensure is required for this position. If you dont already have it, you must be willing to obtain. Company will reimburse.
