Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic x-rays and support imaging services across ER and outpatient settings. You will utilize EPIC and PACS systems, ensuring patient safety and precise imaging.

Position offers cross training to CT Tech and requires ARRT certification, an associate degree in radiologic technology, and BLS. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have an associate degree in radiologic technology.
• ARRT Certification in Radiology is required.
• BLS certification required.
• New grads welcome to apply; must meet degree/registry requirements.
• Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Cross training to CT Tech will be part of this role.

Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for performing diagnostic x-rays.
• Opportunity to learn bone density and operating room.
• Manage a broad range of simultaneous duties efficiently.
• Utilize the Electronic Medical Record System (EPIC) and PACS (Change Healthcare).
• Perform diagnostic X-rays with precision and care.
• Perform diagnostic x-ray exams through the ER and Outpatients as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide high-quality imaging services.
• Cross training to a CT Tech will be part of this role.
