Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas seeks a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our award-winning team. The role performs high-quality CT procedures, positions patients, and collaborates with radiologists to ensure accurate results while maintaining patient safety and privacy.

Candidates should have ARRT Certification in Radiology, CT registry eligibility, and at least 1 year of CT and radiology experience. This is a fulltime on-site position in central North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Certification in Radiology required.
• ARRT Certification in CT or CT registry eligibility required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in CT and general radiology preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring comfort, safety, and privacy.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.
