Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a Radiologic Tech (ARRT) to join our imaging team. The role involves performing diagnostic X-rays, supporting bone density procedures, and collaborating with staff to ensure patient safety and high-quality imaging.

Cross-training to a CT Tech is part of this position. Qualified candidates will have an associate degree in radiologic technology, ARRT certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-rays with accuracy and safety.

• Support the Emergency Room and Outpatients as needed.

• Will be responsible for performing diagnostic x-rays.
• Opportunity to learn bone density and operating room.
• Manage a broad range of simultaneous duties efficiently.
• Utilize the comprehensive Electronic Medical Record System (EPIC) and PACS (Change Healthcare).
• Perform diagnostic X-rays with precision and care.
• Perform diagnostic x-ray exams through the Emergency Room (ER) and Outpatients as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide high-quality imaging services.
