• Postsecondary (Cert/Diploma/Program Grad) in medical radiography (required).
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the state of practice (required).

• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required.

• Review patient history and orders.
• Educate patient about procedures, equipment and exam.
• Prepare and administer contrast media within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Prepare equipment and supplies.
• Set exposure factors and imaging parameters; follow safety and QC procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedures.
• Analyze results and address image quality issues.
• Enter, transmit and report scan results.
