Keck Medicine of USC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide radiology support for a private practice clinic and imaging services team. The role involves performing diagnostic radiology procedures across ambulatory clinics and surgery centers, with potential travel to other community locations as needed for patient care.

The candidate will operate radiography equipment, develop films, and ensure image quality per physician requirements while maintaining safety standards and patient flow.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• 1 year Radiology experience or student technologist.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Comfortable with computers and medical terminology.
• Technical skills to operate radiography equipment and computers.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic exams and assists with fluoroscopic exams.
• Operates x-ray equipment to capture radiographs per physician order.
• Develops film and performs quality checks on developed film.
• Acts as darkroom technician as needed.
• Manages patient flow, preparation, cleanup and room turnover.
• Assists physician with examinations and patient education materials.
• Positions and instructs patients; adjusts exposure settings as needed.
• Cleans cassettes, screens, and maintains x-ray equipment.
• Adheres to safety procedures to protect staff and patients.
• Provides backup support to other staff and orders supplies.
