Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support radiology and back office operations in a private practice clinic. This role may be supervised by the clinic director, physicians, and/or office manager.

As part of the Imaging Services Team, you will perform diagnostic radiology procedures across clinical settings, ensuring patient safety, proper positioning, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• 1 year as a Radiology Technologist.
• Previous acute hospital experience desired either as a radiologic or student technologist.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak, read and write English proficiently.
• Comfortable with computers and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Performs and/or assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures according to the department procedure manual.
• Reviews radiographs for proper positioning, technique, and identification.
• Demonstrates knowledge of all radiographic equipment in the department and assigned clinical areas.
• Maintains proper patient identification and exam protocol.
• Ensures radiation safety and proper documentation.
• Keeps x-ray rooms neat, stocked, and prepared; assists with ordering supplies.
• Participates in after hours standby and callback as required.
• Mentors students and less experienced technologists.
