Job summary

Virtua Health seeks a licensed radiologic technologist to perform diagnostic radiologic procedures and ensure high-quality images while adhering to ALARA standards. You will document patient data and verify orders, providing safe, compliant care.

Responsibilities include operating RIS/PACS systems, training junior staff, and maintaining equipment safety in a patient-focused setting. NJDEP licensure is required; ARRT eligibility is accepted.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• NJDEP licensure required.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures for all patient populations according to radiologist protocols.
• Evaluates images to produce high-quality diagnostic results while following ALARA principles.
• Documents thoroughly and verifies physician orders and patient information prior to procedures.
• Trains and mentors new staff or student radiologic technologists.
