Job summary

Virtua Health seeks a part-time Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures across patient populations in a safe, ALARA-compliant manner. You will ensure accurate imaging, verify orders, and document thoroughly while using RIS, PACS, and other hospital systems.

Mentorship of students and new staff is expected. The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program with ARRT eligibility or registration, NJ licensure, and CPR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• Certification in radiology is preferred; ARRT registry eligible considered.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures for diverse patient populations according to established protocols.
• Ensures radiation safety and ALARA principles while obtaining high-quality images.
• Maintains thorough documentation and verifies physician orders and patient information.
• Provides instruction and training to new staff or student radiologic technologists.
