Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program; must be registered within one year of hire.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Position patients accurately to capture required images while minimizing exposure.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment for safety and performance.
• Review images for clarity and proper positioning; adjust as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines.
• Document patient information and imaging details in medical records.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure accurate diagnosis.
