Qualifications

• Competency in chest, extremities, spine, skull, podiatry, or DEXA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality competency.
• Prepare patients and verify identities.
• Perform exams per protocol and evaluate image quality.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain safety.
• Complete studies within time limits without compromising care.
• Instruct students and other radiology staff on protocols and equipment.
• Educate patients and ensure comfort and privacy.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and related information systems.
• Maintain accurate patient procedure records and note adverse reactions.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, and QC.
