Job summary

Palmetto-General-Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform all diagnostic radiographic procedures including OR and portable exams, with high-quality image production. Must follow protocols, manage long periods of standing, and communicate with the Supervisor of Imaging. On-call flexibility is possible.

Responsibilities include using PACS/HIS/RIS systems and assisting patients on/off stretchers, across all ages. Florida licensure and ARRT certification are required.

Qualifications

• Trained in AMA approved school and meets requirements for registry by the ARRT.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Must be self motivated once job skills are learned and is able to work with minimal supervision.
• Computer skills with knowledge of HIS, RIS and PACS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures including OR and portable exams.
• Ensure high-quality images and adherence to protocols and equipment use.
• Coordinate with Radiologists and Supervisor; be prepared for on-call scheduling.
