Job summary

Palmetto General Hospital in Florida is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, including OR and portable exams, at a high quality level. The role requires ARRT/RCIS credentials, PACS/RIS/HIS proficiency, and on-call flexibility.

The ideal candidate will have two years of interventional lab experience, strong visual/hearing acuity, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while communicating with imaging supervisors and radiologists.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Certified Cardiovascular technologist program or equivalent.
• Training in AMA approved school and meets requirements for registry by the ARRT -Preferred.
• Computer skills with knowledge of HIS, RIS and PACS systems.
• Successful completion of the RCIS and Basic Science exams.
• Two years Interventional Lab experience required.
• Visual and hearing senses must be adequate to assess/detect changes in human physiological condition
• Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all diagnostic radiographic procedures including OR and portable exams at a high quality level.
• Report and communicate to Supervisor of Imaging.
• Access and utilize hospital radiology information systems including PACS.
• Schedule flexibility with the possibility of being on-call.

Education

Graduate of Certified Cardiovascular technologist program or equivalent
