Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support imaging services at our Boston campus. You will confirm patient and exam details, explain procedures to patients, and adjust equipment to produce high-quality images in a fast-paced environment.

Required: MA-licensed radiologic technologist with ARRT credentials; BLS preferred/required within 90 days. 2–3 years of relevant experience is preferred, and strong communication is essential for patient care.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Graduate/licensure requirements include Radiologic Technologist (MA) and ARRT registration (required within 180 days of hire).
• BLS certification preferred (required within 90 days of hire).
• 2–3 years experience preferred to comply with state and regulatory rules.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient and exam details via interview and records to ensure correct imaging.
• Explain procedures to patients, addressing language and emotional needs to ensure compliance.
• Adjust radiologic equipment and factors to safely image patients according to protocol.
• Perform imaging and confirm accurate labeling and successful PACS transmission.
