Job summary

Baptist Health System, Inc. is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time day-shift role runs Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with weekend and call rotation.

You will prep rooms, position patients, operate advanced imaging equipment, and collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure safe, accurate, and compassionate care. Eligible for up to $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Radiology/imaging experience preferred.
• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.

• Positioning patients and prepping rooms for imaging.
• Collaborating with nurses and physicians to ensure safe, accurate imaging.

Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Diagnostic Imaging Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity working Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Weekend and call rotation required.

As a Radiology Technologist, your day will consist of prepping rooms and positioning patients to capture clear diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care.

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities:

• Performing high-quality radiographic procedures
• Promoting goodwill amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients
• Reporting to the Lead Technologist on shift
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements
• Comfortable with Pediatrics
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, by state and federal regulations, or Lawful institutional policy

Experience Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience preferred
• Radiology/Imaging Experience preferred
• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Vocational School
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - DOH Required Or
• Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, ARRT (CI) Required Or
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT – ARRT Or
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - CCI – Cardiovascular Preferred
