Job summary

Emerson Health in Concord, MA, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiologic equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images, including using the O-arm Surgical Imaging System. You will ensure patient safety, maintain records, and collaborate with the medical team to support excellent patient care.

Required: JRCERT-accredited education or AS Radiologic Technology degree, MA licensure, and BLS. Preferred: prior radiologic technologist experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program or an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Preferred: prior experience as a radiologic technologist.
• Registered as RT(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible within 12 months of hire.
• Current MA licensure as a Radiologic Technologist and BLS certification.

Radiologic Technologist, Diagnostic Radiology, Emerson Health, Concord, MA

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) at our community hospital, where we provide high-quality care for patients who prefer a personal, community-focused setting. Your expertise in medical imaging will help diagnose disease and injury, directly impacting patient care. Reporting to the Section Leader, you will use imaging technology, including the O-arm® Surgical Imaging System, to produce high-quality images of tissues, organs, bones, and vessels.

What You’ll Do

Education & Experience

• Required: Graduate of a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), or an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college, or equivalent military training.
• Preferred: Previous experience as a radiologic technologist.

Licensure & Certification

• Required: Registered as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible within 12 months of hire.
• Required: Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Required: BLS Healthcare Provider certification.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong communication and patient-focused customer service skills.
• Proficiency with computers, including PACS and RIS systems.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
