Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality radiographic procedures independently, adhering to guidelines and standards.
• Maintains ALARA principles and participates in Image Gently/Image Wisely programs to minimize exposure.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, confirms identity, and explains procedures for comfort and understanding.
• Ensures proper documentation by scanning into PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintains imaging equipment and supplies, supports infection control.
• Communicates effectively with peers and physicians to support patient care.
