Job summary

Inova Physician Services - Orthopedic Trauma seeks a Radiologic Technologist for a full-time day shift (7:30am–4:00pm). Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible. Inova Health is a leading nonprofit provider recognized for safety, quality and patient experience.

As a Rad Tech, you will perform imaging procedures, ensure patient safety and assist in teaching radiography students, with a focus on accurate, efficient examinations in a busy trauma setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school/program of radiography.
• ARRT registered as Radiologic Technologist within 12 months of hire.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• One year of radiology training; recent hospital/healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment and optimizes examinations per department protocols.
• Communicates with patients to obtain history and obtain informed consent.
• Assists physicians in various examinations using standard techniques.
