Job summary

Adventist Health Angwin seeks a Radiologic Technologist to join our on-site imaging team. The role collaborates with the Director of Imaging and Radiologist to perform radiographic exams and ensure patient care quality.

Responsibilities include equipment operation, patient positioning, and maintaining records, with on-call duties as needed. This full-time day-shift role emphasizes safety and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required (R)
• BLS certification per American Heart Association guidelines
• CRT license required; fluoro permit within 6 months of start date
• One to five years of staff technologist experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in administering opaque media.
• Perform department functions; clerical through technical tasks as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service programs; maintain continuing education.
• Instruct and train ancillary personnel; assist with cross-training of X-ray staff.
• Maintain competencies, licenses & education per AH and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot laser printing equipment and PACS.
• Coordinate patient flow; maintain records and orders/charges.
• Contribute to hospital-wide quality assurance program.
