Job summary

Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates in Salina, KS is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to join our regional healthcare team. The technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic examinations across the main radiology department, ED, OR, and bedside/mobile settings, serving patients from neonatal through geriatric.

The ideal candidate will uphold ALARA principles, ensure patient safety, and support efficient imaging workflows using PACS, RIS, and EHR systems.

Qualifications

Must have AMA-approved radiologic technology training.
Active Kansas license for Radiologic Technology (LRT).
Registered or registry-eligible Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
Full-time day shifts with rotating weekends/holidays and occasional on-call duties.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations in diverse settings (acute, ED, OR, outpatient, bedside).
Position patients accurately and select exposure factors for quality images.
Follow ALARA principles and radiation safety protocols.
Operate stationary and mobile radiographic equipment.
Assist radiologists with specialized diagnostic procedures as needed.
Enter, process, and archive imaging data using PACS, RIS, and EHR systems.
Communicate clearly with patients to promote comfort and cooperation.
Maintain high standards of patient safety and image quality.
