Job summary

Salina-Regional-Health-Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic imaging in our clinic setting. The role emphasizes excellent patient interactions and precise positioning to obtain optimal views.

The ideal candidate graduates from an approved Radiologic Technology program, with a preferred minimum of one year of experience and a Kansas radiology license. BLS is required, and varied Friday and Monday–Friday shifts support PRN coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• One year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic/therapeutic examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
• Explain procedures and answer patient questions.
• Demonstrate appropriate patient positioning to obtain optimum views of specified anatomy.
• Adjust equipment controls to set proper protocol based on knowledge of the procedure and established guidelines.
• Assist clinic physicians when necessary.
• Interact with computer programs and systems daily.
