Job summary

Hocking Valley Community Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiographic equipment, prepare rooms, and provide patient imaging services with PACS support. The role requires an AAS, ARRT registry, and an Ohio license, with CPR certification and strong customer service.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree of Applied Science (AAS) required.
  • Radiologic Technologists and Technicians license in the State of Ohio.
  • Registered with the ARRT registry.
  • Two years post graduate Radiologic experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • CPR approved by the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients and staff.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate radiographic equipment and PACS for patient imaging.
  • Prepare room, equipment, supplies and contrast media for procedures.
  • Assist with patient data interpretation and age-specific needs.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Ensure safety and quality standards; assist cross-training in CT.
