Job summary
Colorado Department of Corrections is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Denver Complex to deliver high-quality diagnostic radiographs for offenders. You will operate X-ray equipment, prepare images for radiologist review, and ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
The role requires ARRT registration, an associate degree in Radiologic Technology, and at least one year of professional experience.
Qualifications
- ARRT registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiography with credentials attached.
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field with transcripts.
- One year of professional Radiology Technologist experience.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate radiological orders and determine procedures and protection needed.
- Operate fixed and portable X-ray machines per guidelines.
- Produce high quality radiographs to aid diagnosis by radiologist.
- Prepare digital images for radiologist review and log tests.
- Travel to other facilities within the state as needed.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and quality control standards.
