Mayo Clinic is seeking a part-time Mammography Technologist to produce high-quality breast images per MQSA standards. You will work closely with radiology staff, follow safety guidelines, and participate in team communication. Flexibility to staff multiple locations and hours is required.
The role includes ARRT certification maintenance, potential Breast Ultrasound training, and scheduling that may include mornings or extended hours as needed.

Produces high quality images that meet the standards established by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the Mayo Clinic Radiology Department. Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology. Practices safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths. Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths which may include days, evenings, and weekends.
Must have an associate's degree in a related field and be a graduate of an accredited radiography program. Incumbents hired into the role prior to February 15, 2018, are required to be a graduate of an accredited radiography program.
Organized, efficient and multifunctional. Ability to work independently. Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate effective communication.
ARRT(R) registry required within 90 days after start of employment.
Annual documentation of ARRT certification required.
Advanced ARRT certification and documentation in mammography preferred but required within 12 months of hire.
Additional credentialing may be required for advanced modalities within Breast Imaging.
Mammography technologists selected to be trained in Breast Ultrasound must become RTBS registered within 24 months of completion of ultrasound training.
Technologists will be required to maintain their mammography certification and will be scheduled to work in mammography and ultrasound on a routine basis.
CPR/BLS Certified or obtained within 90 days of employment.
