Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Wisconsin is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce high-quality images for physician interpretation across varied equipment. You will ensure safety, teamwork, and excellent patient service while supporting multiple work locations and shift times.

Candidates should be ARRT-certified in Radiography (and CT within 18 months for most roles) and hold current BLS certification. On-call, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends are common requirements.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
  • Organized, efficient and multifunctional.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication.
  • Able to work varied hours, on-call pager including days, evenings, nights, weekends.
  • Willing to learn mammography and pass separate boards if not certified.
  • ARRT certified in Radiography; ARRT CT certification within 18 months (24 months for some roles).
  • Appropriate state licensure and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments. Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths. Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.

Qualifications

Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.

Candidates will need to be certified in mammography or be willing to learn mammography and pass separate mammography boards. Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist experience preferred. ARRT certified in Radiography ARRT certified in CT within 18 months of hire or 24 months for Critical Access Hospital, Per Diem, or Supplemental employees. Additional certifications may be required and determined by Radiology leadership. Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the candidate practices (if the state requires licensure). BLS certified
