Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Wisconsin is seeking a Radiologic Technologist/CT Technologist to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation. You will operate various imaging modalities, ensuring safety and adherence to Mayo Clinic standards.

The role requires ARRT radiography (and CT) certification within specified timelines, mammography credentials or willingness to pursue them, and BLS. Flexibility for varied hours and on-call coverage is expected.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
  • Able to work independently and efficiently across multiple tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication.
  • Willing to work varied hours, shifts, and respond to on-call pager.
  • Certified in mammography or willing to learn and pass boards.
  • Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist experience preferred.
  • ARRT Radiography certification; CT within 18 months (24 months for select employees).
  • State licensure from the practice state (if required).
  • BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments. Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths. Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.


Qualifications

Requires a graduate of an accredited radiography program. Organized, efficient and multifunctional. Ability to work independently. Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication. Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends. Candidates will need to be certified in mammography or be willing to learn mammography and pass separate mammography boards. Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist experience preferred. ARRT certified in Radiography ARRT certified in CT within 18 months of hire or 24 months for Critical Access Hospital, Per Diem, or Supplemental employees. Additional certifications may be required and determined by Radiology leadership. Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the candidate practices (if the state requires licensure). BLS certified.

Primary schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Participation in a weekend, on-call and holiday rotation Flexibility to provide off-shift coverage for PTO, FMLA, and other staffing needs as required
