Job summary

Catholic Health in New York is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with independence and clinical judgment across hospital settings including OR, ER, and EP Lab. You will acquire high-quality images while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from a two-year radiologic technology program, ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited two-year radiologic technology program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Make decisions on equipment and technique for radiographs.
• Evaluate patient condition to assist in emergencies.
• Deliver age-appropriate care across patient populations.
• Perform radiographs in OR, ER, portable, EP Lab, and inpatient/outpatient areas.
• Assist physicians during fluoroscopy and maintain sterile technique.
• Apply ionizing radiation principles to obtain high-quality images.
