Jobtailor seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform x-ray procedures and operate fixed and mobile x-ray equipment across departments, delivering imaging services in high-acuity, surgical, and outpatient settings.

The role supports patient transport, adheres to safety and regulatory requirements, and contributes to leadership and quality improvement efforts while training staff and students.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Graduate of a 2-year accredited Radiology Technology program.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) through the State Board of Healing Arts for Kansas locations, within 90 days.
• Radiography (R) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Ability to operate all fixed and mobile x-ray equipment.
• Experience required in high-acuity areas, surgical areas and less acute outpatient settings.
• Ability to use computer systems for patient testing and retrieval of quality and performance data.
• Ability to understand and follow current state and national rules, regulations and practices.
• Additional language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray procedures to produce diagnostic images.
• Operate fixed and mobile x-ray equipment throughout assigned departments and facilities.
• Provide imaging services in high-acuity, surgical and outpatient areas.
• Participate in patient transport and support timely patient care and satisfaction.
• Follow policies, procedures, safety, infection-control and state and national requirements.
• Provide input to radiology physician leadership regarding patient care and interactions.
• Assist with process-improvement information collection.
• Support continuing education and training of student technologists and staff.
• Report potential hazards, safety concerns and unsafe behaviors to radiology leadership.
• Complete mandatory educational assignments.
• Perform the professional, clinical and technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
