Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate X-ray equipment, position patients for radiographic views and ensure high-quality images for interpretation. You will explain procedures to patients and prepare the necessary paperwork for interpretation in a busy clinical setting.

Ideal candidates include new graduates and experienced technologists who hold AMA approved radiology technology training, ARRT certification, and BLS certification. On-site role based in Durham, NC.

Qualifications

• AMA approved School of Radiology Technology required.
• ARRT Certification is required or in progress.
• BLS certification required.
• New graduates and experienced technologists welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks involved in operating x-ray equipment to make radiographs
• Adjust equipment for proper radiographic exposure techniques
• Explain x-ray procedures to patients
• Position patients for each anatomical view
• Monitor accessory equipment and assist the physician with procedures
• Accurately process images for optimal quality
• Match with appropriate paperwork for interpretation
• Charge radiographic procedures
